{These heels were made for traveling…}

There was a time, long ago, when I thought that frequent business trips would be an absolute adventure.  Oh the places I would go and the things that I would see.  Pfft! How quickly the shine came off that proverbial apple.  Although there are some definite perks that come out of such frequent trips, living out of a suitcase becomes old pretty fast.  Thankfully though, I’ve developed a routine that makes traveling a heck of a lot easier.  Traveling first class is one of them.  What about you darlings?  Do you have any traveling requirements?

Wishing you a happy Hump Day!

xoxo

My darlings, where ever did the month of January go?  My apologies dear ones for not posting since last week.  I feel like it has been nonstop since we’ve entered this new year and by the looks of it, there is no slowing down for this gal.  I have trips scheduled out in each month until the end of Twenty-twelve and somewhere in that schedule I need to make sure that it’s not all work and that there is quite a bit of play.  So to end the month on a cheerful note, and since its Five o’clock somewhere, let us whip up a yummy cocktail and toast to the next eleven months bringing great success and many wonderful adventures.  Cheers love!!!

xoxo

Happy Friday Mon Cheri!

 As I prepare to take my first of many business trips this year, I started to think about a few essentials that I would need for my travels.  It all begins with the right tools to keep me organized.  Throw into the mix a FABULOUS neutral lipstick and I am good to go.

What were your obsessions this week?

Happy Friday my precious darlings!  Have you picked up on the scent of yet another promising weekend?  The weekend is finally upon us and I am feeling completely loopy with glee.  It’s been one of those terribly saturated drama-filled weeks where you just want to exit stage right and keep going without a moments glance back.  I’m definitely ready to drive off into the sunset.

Wishing you a weekend as amazing as you are…

Muaaah!

Happy Tuesday my darlings!  I hope this day finds you FABULOUSLY well. I’m traveling for business this week and thus far my meetings are running smoothly. Woo hooo!  Heaven knows that my monthly business trips can be fraught with stressful, anxiety producing moments but making sure that I am adequately prepared for every trip would make traveling the ‘friendly skies’ a much more pleasant experience.  Hence, my obsession this past weekend with these DIVINE items.  What types of items must you take on your trips in order to make it pleasurable and/or less stressful? I would REALLY love to know.

Wishing for the beach…

I want to be here, alone with my thoughts, with a few good books and a couple of great mags.  I would send out cute post cards that would say, “Wish you were here” and write a few thank you notes that are way overdue.  I would unplug and disconnect. Lay low and resurface later.   I would play in the waves and dwindle the hours away.   Ahh! To be at the beach…

Hotel Room Heaven

Lately, it has been increasingly more difficult to travel for business, especially when I know I may have to check into yet another substandard hotel room.  BUT…dreamy rooms such as these would have me singing a different tune altogether. 😉 Sigh.  Note to boss: Need a bigger expense account. 😀
